Product Support
Need help installing your new mount? Don't know where to find replacement tape? Or maybe you have an issue and need to talk to someone? Well, you're in the right spot. We've got a bunch of "self-help" resources here like installation videos, tips on changing out your tape, and a few other things. But you can always simply contact us using the form below for direct support. We answer pretty quickly and we promise not to bite (too hard anyway). Note, the contact form won't accept attachments, but use it to reach us and we'll respond with our real address, it's a spam thing...
Chin Mount Installation
1. Clean your helmet with the included prep pad
2. Test fit the mount to your helmet so you know right where it goes
3. Peel off the backing of the 3M tape
4. Spread the mount wings slightly and apply to helmet.
5. Go Forth and Adventure - and tag us in your pics!!
Spare Tape
There are 2 right ways and 6 wrong ways to replace the tape on your WannaBes chin mount (just kidding, there's only ever one right way). Follow this video if your mount is hard plastic. For TPU (rubberized) mounts, we've got a video coming just for you (spoiler, it requires glue).
Lifetime Limited Warranty
We have a lifetime limited warranty on all our chin mounts. That means if you installed it on the right helmet, and then had an issue or broke it in a crash, we'll help sort you out. Usually that means we just ship you a new mount to replace the broken one, but sometimes we also have good fatherly type advice like "install it the right way for best results" 🤣
To initiate a warranty claim, just shoot us an email using the form below or message us on Instagram (it's helpful if you tell us your real name or order number on insta, we usually can't ship to your cool handle).
Gnarly Crash Video?
Yes, we do love crashes, especially our own, but yours will do in a pinch.
In all seriousness, if you want us to share your cool crash footage, we'd typically love to oblige. Email us using the form below to let us know you've got a clip for us. We'll check it out to make sure it's not going to get us banned or anything (not that you'd every do that to us) and let you know if we can post it. If we do post the video, we'll happily tag your profile (assuming you give us permission).
It's best if videos are original files from the GoPro, and as high quality as possible. We can arrange a drop box or Google drive link for you to share to if needed.
