Airoh helmets are awesome, we know, our founder runs one! But, their unique chin-bar shape makes them almost impossible to mount an action camera onto. That's literally why we invented the WannaBes mount. We started with an aluminum bar Jon bent into shape, but quickly realized we were onto something. From these humble beginnings, our line of awesome chin mounts was born.
Designed specifically for this helmet, the WannaBes Airoh Aviator 2.2 & 2.3 mount is the only action camera system compatible with the aerodynamic razor chin guard of the Aviator lineup.

Why 3D Printing?
Back before we were making 3D printed helmet camera chin mounts, we were making due with some sub-par strap-on helmet mounts.
That sucked.
It sucked so much that we channeled our inner infomercial and shouted into the ether “THERE'S GOT TO BE A BETTER WAY!”
There was, in fact, a better way. We first made a custom mount out of aluminum for our personal Airoh Aviator Ace helmet, which was vastly superior to anything that was available to purchase.
That got us to thinking about 3D printing, and the rest, as they say, is history. Now that the backstory of our incredible journey into the world of chin-mount making is out of the way…

Camera Compatibility
Our action camera chin mounts are compatible with all GoPro models (Hero 11,10,9,8,7,6,5...) along with many other cameras such as models from Akaso, Garmin, DJI, or Sony. Our mounts are designed to accomodate GoPro's camera protective cases or their Media Mod and will give you excellent tilt-back angles even when you use a case or mod.
*some camera models may require an adaptor (sold on Amazon, Walmart, etc) to convert to the GoPro style mounting forks.
Crash Proof Chin Mounts
The WannaBes chin mounts are now made from a flexible material called TPU which is nearly indestructable. Not only is it practically impossible to break one of our mounts, the rubberized material also acts as a damper for any impact to your camera, helping keep your whole system safer in a crash!
Installation Instructions
1. Test mount position on helmet
2. Remove backing of 3M tape
3. Spread mount wings gently
4. Install on helmet ensuring full contact on whole tape surface.
