Our chin mount custom-designed for the 509 Delta R4 allows you to attach a GoPro (or your preferred brand of camera), giving you the best perspective to document your rides as they were meant to be experienced. This lets you brag about the gnar you just shredded without having to explain to your friends how perspective works, as our 3D printed chin mounts allow you to get the perfect angle. Not too tall like those unwieldy top mounts, not just the right (or left) side of your helmet, our mounts put the action front and center.
Why chin mounting?
The chin mounting location is especially ideal for the 509 Delta R4 given the helmet’s cold weather features. How many times have you seen a top-mounted camera end up on the ground after clipping a tree branch? Doubling back to search for a lost camera is hard enough on some single track, now imagine doing it in the snow. We get cold just thinking about it.
Our mount for the 509 Delta R4 has been designed and tested to give you the correct amount of “tip-back” allowing your videos to be as epic as the rides that you took to make them. Since our mounts are made specifically for your helmet, you can focus on your ride instead of fiddling with your camera.
Built for vloggers
That said, eventually you will need to swap batteries or memory cards, so we designed our mounts to be as user-friendly as we could by placing the mounting screw on the opposite side allowing for easy door access.
Indestructability gurantee
Did we mention the fact that our custom mounts are virtually indestructible? Crash with confidence knowing that while the camera may not survive, your mount will. We have literally run our mount over with a truck and it was still good to go after applying some fresh 3M tape. (We did not test the camera this way, so you will have to contact GoPro to see if they offer the same promise.)
A note about modulars...
The mount that we designed for the 509 Delta R4 allows for full functionality of the helmet when the modular front is closed, and the camera does not get in the way when you open the visor. You will likely need to make some adjustments to the camera angle if you ride with the modular front open, obviously, but what kind of heathen does that?
What we are trying to say is that pairing our innovative tip-back angle with the equally well thought out 509 Delta R4 is a great idea. You get the Delta R4’s modular design, drop-down sun shield, dirt bike inspired visor, exceptional venting, and easy-to-use magnetic strap buckle, PLUS videos that properly document where all those features allowed you to go thanks to our indestructible mount and your favorite brand of action camera.

Camera Compatibility
Our action camera chin mounts are compatible with all GoPro models (Hero 11,10,9,8,7,6,5...) along with many other cameras such as models from Akaso, Garmin, DJI, or Sony. Our mounts are designed to accomodate GoPro's camera protective cases or their Media Mod and will give you excellent tilt-back angles even when you use a case or mod.
*some camera models may require an adaptor (sold on Amazon, Walmart, etc) to convert to the GoPro style mounting forks.
Crash Proof Chin Mounts
The WannaBes chin mounts are now made from a flexible material called TPU which is nearly indestructable. Not only is it practically impossible to break one of our mounts, the rubberized material also acts as a damper for any impact to your camera, helping keep your whole system safer in a crash!
Installation Instructions
1. Test mount position on helmet
2. Remove backing of 3M tape
3. Spread mount wings gently
4. Install on helmet ensuring full contact on whole tape surface.
